Payment Rules

Payout for ProComp incentives is governed by the following business rules.

Advanced Degrees and Licenses

• A teacher must turn in a completed Salary Increase Request Form to receive payment for Advanced Degrees
• Teachers may earn this incentive for one license or certification per discipline area. If the employee is already being paid on a separate license or certification within this same discipline, payout will be denied.
• If the advanced license or certificate has been used previously to set salary or for a salary increase, it is not eligible to be used again. 
• If an employee has received a salary increase for an advanced degree in the past three years, the current degree will be banked until the beginning of the fourth year.
• Two separate degrees from a dual degree program can get salary increases three years apart.
